Anne Savioja; at your service!
I have been in love with agility since 1987, when I, for the first time, saw the agility obstacles with my miniatur-schnautzer Pipsa. Since then my life as agility-competitor , a trainee and organizer continued till I became an official judge 1997. Still I'm competing with my dogs to be in touch. The big succees… they may come to those I coach!
I'm glad to get the opportunity and honour to give the agility-folks of the World all my acquirements I've got during the past 20 years. I was the WC-judge in Helsinki/2008 and is the best task an agility-freak ever can imagine! Last year I got plenty of tasks all over the Europe, which was very positive experience. I had the pleasure to judge also in Hungary, and I'm happy to come back again!
Always remember:
When training and competing, don't forget that agility is team-work!
What ever happens, always respect your team-companion: the dog!
Without a dog you are not an agility-competitor!
The failure in the competition can occur because of the mistakes in trainings, maybe months ago!? Perhaps the mistake in first place was in buying a dog, as a very dear friend of mine has said!
Don't forget:
- A dog did not innovate agility! It was a human being who wanted to train and compete! The dogs are not guilty!
- A carrot is always better than a whip!
- When ever you go and compete, remember: on the goal line your dog must always feel like The Winner!
Waiting to have agility-fun with you in Hungary!
Best regards from Finland,
Anne Savioja
